Bio
I’ve been writing since I was twelve years old. I’ve been reading my entire life, and became addicted to romance and happily ever after in my early teens. My older brother gave me a great bit of advice before he died in 2000. He told me if there was anything in my life I wanted to do, I needed to do it. He told me it was imperative I follow my dreams. My father was my biggest cheerleader as I started my writing journey. He would always ask about my writing progress, read my stories even though he wasn’t a romance junky, and always encourage me. He, too, passed away in 2003 but his dreams for me to realize my dreams have always stuck with me. Now I not only write because I love to do so, but I write to honor my brother and my father. It was the day after my father’s third anniversary that I felt compelled to submit my first short story to The Wild Rose Press, and I believe it was my father’s way of wishing me a happy thirty birthday.
